No oven, no deep fryer, no allergens—just bold flavor and easy cleanup.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings, split at the joint and tips removed
Kosher salt
4 tbsp vegan butter (Country Crock Plant is our go-to)
½ cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
Vegan ranch dressing (Hidden Valley Plant Ranch is a favorite)
Instructions
Prep the wings Pat wings dry with paper towels and sprinkle generously with kosher salt.
Air fry Place wings in the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer, making sure they don’t touch. If needed, stand drumettes upright along the sides to fit. Cook at 360°F for 12 minutes, flip with tongs, then cook another 12 minutes. Flip again, increase heat to 390°F, and cook 6 more minutes until extra crispy.
Make the sauce Melt vegan butter in a microwave-safe bowl (about 1 minute). Whisk in hot sauce until smooth.
Toss & serve Transfer wings to a large bowl and toss with buffalo sauce until coated. Serve warm with vegan ranch on the side.
Tips & Swaps
Always double-check wing packaging for hidden allergens or cross-contact warnings.
For extra heat, add a dash of cayenne or a splash of vinegar to the sauce.
These wings reheat beautifully in the air fryer—perfect for leftovers or meal prep.
Serve with celery sticks or allergy-friendly rolls for a full spread.
