Buffalo Chicken Dip (Dairy-Free, Egg-Free)

Top-9-Free • Dairy-Free • Egg-Free • Crowd-Friendly

This creamy Buffalo Chicken Dip brings the heat without the hassle—no dairy, no eggs, no stress. Made with allergy-safe ingredients and packed with flavor, it’s perfect for football parties, cozy weekends, or anytime snacking. Scoopable, shareable, and satisfying—because allergy families deserve game-day favorites that feel just like the real thing. I love serving it with crunchy celery and allergy-safe chips—it’s always the first thing to disappear. Whether you're cheering for your team or just here for the snacks, this one’s a win.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie-style, poached or use canned chicken breast)

  • 1 cup dairy-free cream cheese (Philadelphia plant-based is our favorite)

  • ½ cup vegan ranch (Hidden Valley Plant Ranch is my go-to)

  • ½ cup dairy-free shredded cheddar (Daiya brand melts the best)

  • ½ cup safe buffalo sauce (We use Frank’s Original)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

  • Serve with tortilla chips and celery

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe bowl.

  2. Mix the base. In a large bowl, combine dairy-free cream cheese, ranch, buffalo sauce, dairy-free cheddar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth.

  3. Add the chicken. Fold in the shredded chicken until evenly coated.

  4. Bake. Transfer mixture to your baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges.

  5. Garnish and serve. Sprinkle with chopped green onions or parsley if desired. Serve warm with allergy-safe tortilla chips, celery sticks, or sliced cucumbers.

Tips & Swaps

  • Make it ahead: Mix everything and refrigerate up to 2 days before baking.

  • Slow cooker option: Heat on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.

  • Spice level: Adjust buffalo sauce to taste—some brands are milder than others.

  • Chicken shortcut: Use leftover roasted chicken or canned chicken in a pinch.
